"Is Spain in your veins?" Yes! It certainly can be, after visting us here at Barcelona. We have designed it to be an escape....a visit to Spain without leaving town. Just as the location is steeped in the history of the Valley, the Rio Grande Valley has a rich cultural heritage. A part of that history comes from Spain; hence the name, BarCelona, a reference to Barcelona, Spain. This is our introductory marketing campaign and is designed to illuminate the cultural tie that Border Hispanics have to their Spanish Heritage.Barcelona's unique physical building is a tribute to the history of McAllen. The Industrial Ice House building has been carefully transformed to maintain its original character while providing our guests with a unique Spanish experience.

Our Menu
The food is created with the European traditions of taste, freshness and simplicity. Our menu features a variety of tapas elegantly presented.
We also serve more traditional entrees for those a little relucant to sharing.
Tapas, a culinary offshoot of the Spanish word: Tapar, "to cover" are specialty dishes served with the intention to promote conversation and good times.

The Veronica Sanchez Trio is an
extraordinary musical group that combines voice, acoustic guitar and bass to create a unique and intimate musical experience. Their repertoire consists of a wide variety of musical genres including, jazz standards, bossa nova, boleros and Spanish music. The group is made up of the elegant vocal sounds of Veronica Sanchez, the soothing Spanish guitar of Kurt Martinez and the stylish walking bass lines of Arturo Latigo.
